In the first episode of the Test Kitchen Challenge, Souped Up!, contestants are tasked with breaking down a chicken and making use of it in their interpretation of the ultimate comfort food dish. The winner moves on to the grand finale!
In the second episode of the Test Kitchen Challenge, Souped Up!, Sohla El-Waylly teaches contestants how to make the perfect, crispy shallots the BA way. The hero challenge is to impress the judges with a one-bite party appetizer worth swooning over. The winner moves on to the grand finale!
In the third episode of the Test Kitchen Challenge, Souped Up!, Christina Chaey teaches contestants how to make homemade mayo, a key ingredient when building a crispy grilled cheese. Winner claims the last remaining spot in the grand finale!
In the final episode of season one of the Test Kitchen Challenge, Souped Up!, three finalists re-enter our test kitchen to get an advanced course on classic mirepoix prep by Rick Martinez. For our championship round, the task is a family-style dinner! It's all on the line.
